The Feast of St Gobnait II:
A three course Farm Supper celebrating beekeeping, bees and honey prepared by Peter Harrison with Guest of Honour the writer Helen Jukes. The supper will be served at handmade oak refectory tables in the farmhouse Dining Rooms with fires and candles lit. Honeys sourced from the Leiston & District Beekeepers Association. BYO beer and wine. Supper includes tea / coffee / tisanes.

About the Farm Suppers
The Farm Suppers are held in the farmhouse Dining Rooms one evening each week during the autumn ! Cornucopia ! season. They celebrate the extraordinary range of farmed and wild local foods available in the beautiful Alde Valley of East Suffolk – with a sprinkling of more exotic ingredients if needed. All the Suppers are cooked, prepared and served by Peter Harrison and his team. Food is served by candlelight with fires lit on the farmhouse’s oak refectory tables – made with timber grown at the farm. The Farm Suppers are also held in association with Autumn Writing Residencies at the farm. Each Supper welcomes a different writer as the evening’s principal Guest of Honour and explores a culinary theme that is linked to their writing. This years Guests of Honour include the writers Helen Jukes [on a Farm Writing Residency], Tim Richardson [on an inaugural Poetry in Aldeburgh Writing Residency] and Leonardo do Froes [on the third Flipside Festival Writing Residency]. Themes for the three Farm Suppers range from Honey to Venison and Brazilian Cuisine.
