One in Six comes as our guest – As a thank you for bringing your friends (and for our regular diners) your sixth dinner is on the house!
The clocks will have sprung forward and the evenings will be light. It is the finest time of year for early seasons’ greens and purples, still a few weeks before the bright greens of Suffolk asparagus and broad beans take centre stage. With the finest freshly harvested seafood available all year round, and great local beef maturing over many years, what better opportunity for a first course of bright, asian flavours followed by perfectly cooked beef presented in two different styles.
To get the evening off to a good start, have a glass of Prosecco and polish off some canapés, followed by a further delicious three courses:
Menu
Starter
Grilled diver caught scallop, steamed Deben mussel salad with lemon grass and coriander
Main
Seared Red Poll skirt steak, braised cheek with polenta bubble and squeak, seasonal greens
Dessert
Hazelnut chocolate fondant, caramelised orange and vanilla semifreddo
(I’m happy to provide for any specific dietary requirements or tastes.)
Saturday 11 April 2015, starts at 7.30pm. £43 per person.

‘The dinners at Brick Kiln Barn provide a rare opportunity for those in the know to experience what will, on the night, be the best food on the tables of Suffolk. Peter’s followers, many from his previous restaurant Harrison’s will, one and all, attest to the imagination and sheer style which Peter will bring to his choice of local ingredients.’ Debbie Hills, Brick Kiln Barn
